Waterproof carpet protector around the edges, then layers of poly-backed dustsheets were placed on top, followed by rolled up towels around the edges to ensure the new carpet was fully protected.

The wallpaper now carefully removed without perforating, so as to not damage the plasterboard.

Now the walls have been fully filled, skimmed and sanded twice with the dustproof sander and are ready for the white mist coat (to cover the pink and seal the walls ready for the paint).

Chimney breast after wallpaper removed- layers of paint peeled off so I treated to prevent further peeling, then skimmed and sanded until beautifully smooth.
